This Great Gatsby Summer

I feel like my summer is straight out of the pages of a Fitzgerald story.

Seriously, this summer has been so laid back, and warm. We've visited with friends at their lakehouses, and lounged around reading books in the sun, and had tasty food, and gone for boat rides. Yes, we're busy with real life, but when we're not, this doesn't feel like real life at all!! It's very...1920's fabulous. I like simple fabulous.

                                                     The Lake in question....

                                                               Lunch with Grandma

                                                         This UNBELIEVABLE boathouse

I should not be permitted in rustic spaces with black and white film.

It's dark, but I love, love, love the shading on this

                                                                     Old Glory

                                                           Oh you beautiful...

                                                                      Tool shed

Lemon Mousse with Raspberry Sauce. M'gosh.

                                                               And then there is that.

 Such a sweet summer.

Hey, P.S., people....my book is going for its FINAL EDIT. I'm going to be done with my second edit tomorrow, and then final edit begins! PLUS, I'm meeting with a publishing friend this week to discuss..well, publishing!
